I just had a back procedure after 10 years of being very inactive and now feel better than ever, however after my first 2 BJJ classes my muscles that I haven't used in forever are so sore it's hard to walk around. My question is do I power through it and go to class for a 3rd day in a row or sit out a couple days and rest?
rest, the body doesnt bounce as back as quickly when you get older and the risk of injuries rises.
Im currently doing no training after trying to push through some injuries in a session, the hardest thing to do sometimes is swallow your pride and sit it out.

Thanks, I went again today and pushed through the soreness but I'm gonna take a couple days off and see how I feel. I'm not really injured just sore muscles.
Post training go through proper measures. Stretching/icing/muscle rub etc. I just recently went back to training and I have gotten older. It really helps to stretch, take a hot shower/ ice the sore muscle then use like a bio freeze or muscle rub
