I think this is a cool thing to do but also has some selfish intentions. I have a feeling this is to get publicity from news stations and what not.

Its a cool idea but you know it isn't just to "support the troops" more so "support the troops to get the IFL publicity"

Brigham is smart!

LOL @ "Command and Signal." I haven't head that in years.....

Thanks BigDub - I was hoping somebody besides me would get a
laugh out of that format.

definitly a bit of a publicity move, but not a bad idea.

Just like UFN at The Marine Base.

Hmmm...doesn't seem like many active duty military guys would get relieved of duty for something like this...and relocate to D.C.  Nice gesture though.

source?

Good idea for the IFL to try and get some publicity, but really, who wants to beat up on active military guys right now?

The first season will probably be mostly prior service guys. We will be
trying to work with recruiting commands in the future for active guys.

LOL I love the OPORD format, awesome.

Im There for the VA. Tryouts. When I was stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital they wouldn't give me time off to fight now here's my chance, now that I'm out. This is great.

This idea will only be as good as the fighters on the team. If they lose every fight our American warriors won't look so hot.

Brigham, of course its publicity.... anything done outside the base is for publicity.

I think its a great idea, my only concern is just about any military trained MMA fighter ive ever seen is pretty bad... and i'd hate to see the services not look so good in a public arena like that

Hopefully, some Prior service guys that have gone on to accomplish some things in MMA get in there.

publicity stunt or not...it'll be great for some troops...
