We would like to congratulate Michael Orzel who will be moving back to Reno Nevada to begin teaching at Reno Judo Club in February.
Michael has been one of the instructors at OCJTC for the last several months. Michael began his judo career at 10 years of age in 1991, attending GKS Czarni Bytom in Poland. GKS is one of the top judo programs in Poland with several of its members becoming part of the Polish Olympic Judo Team.
Michael has his Masters Degree in Physical Education from the University in Wroclaw. Michael assisted with many of the physical conditioning training drills at OCJTC, and his input was invaluable. We wish Michael well as he begins this next chapter in his life, and we will miss him on our mats.
Reno Judo Club was started in 1985 by Sensei Jack Turrentine who still runs the club today. The Reno Judo Club is located at 2299 Penguin Drive, Sparks NV.
