No cause for worry my friend, I played Magic the gathering back in.. uh.. 1997? Me and my friends went crazy over that game. I can still list scores of cards and their cost and the text, I was obsessed :D
Good job, RNC. Can you explain what makes the background Hawaiian for us mainlanders? I figured the colors were, but where does the triangle patterning come from?
Also, my only critique would be one that I have of many acrylic paintings (i.e. not a critique of your work, as much as of the medium itself): they tend to look a bit too "chalky" when it comes to using whites. In oils you can get around this by using Flake White rather than Titanium. But I'm not sure if there's a solution for acrylics.
Anway, great job, man!
