Anyone else worried that the Yakuza would be getting involved again with New Pride? I'm really excited to see where this goes but if they take the dirty money it may be short lived 
Not worried because it's inevitable. No sense wasting thoughts on it.
Get some of that Yakuza money to get the ball rolling. Next is soccer kicks and stomps.

Would be getting involved? How about they're more then likely the main reason it's getting rolling in the first place!

Well the Yakuza's man is the guy who is running it again, so I am going to take a wild guess and say they are involved again.
It's fair that people are worried about a TV deal, but you would think a lot of issues like these would already be largely sorted out or we wouldn't be seeing such movement in the first place.

Sometimes it works the other way around and you have to create the noise first to get yourself noticed.
As long as they don't extort fighters like they did Crocop to a new manager while hanging the old one over a ledge Suge Knight style I think they should be good.
It's business in Japan so of course they're involved. PRIDE just became too public.
(I lived their for a while and Yakuza business involvement comes under the general cultural guideline of 'just keep it in the background' as do many other things like married couples having affairs or teen daughters boyfriends ....'everybody knows' and 'everybody officially knows' are two different things...)
