What are everyone's views on closeouts? Do you agree or disagree with Franjinha? The IBJJF made sure they didn't have any at the Pro League over the weekend and I thought it was a good idea! Phone Post

Another awesome interview, one random thought though. I was for sure that Paul Walker was better then blue belt, I remember reading a interview in some magazine saying he was a purple belt, but then I searched his name and there is a picture of him wearing a brown belt.

But then I saw this picture from Feb and he is a blue belt

Very strange, perhaps he forgot to bring his belt to training and had to borrow one? I'm just reaching though

One of the most interesting things about franjinha is his openness to letting his students crosstrain with other teams. Glover taught @ Cobra Kai for a while and had a lasting impact on that team. Do you guys get to crosstrain or are you stuck with the old school "creonte" mentality? Phone Post

Yeah I thought it was random. Franjinha seems like a super cool guy with a good head on his shoulder with regards to closing out division and cross training.

I say we dojo storm the set of Fast and Furious 6 and get to the bottom of this Paul Walker belt fiasco. Phone Post

Muay Thai vs Jiu jitsu, come on?

Although, I do wonder if the surprise villain at the end will be Cyborg. Phone Post

I can't wait to see glover compete at the worlds. Who would you guys wanna see him go up against? There are a lot of interesting matchups for Jeff and his style is always fun to watch. His match with Caio at Metamoris was fun to watch! Phone Post

I'm super excited to see him and Bill competing more, they are what BJJ needs imo.

I think the sub only formats are made for Bill and Jeff. It allows them to open their games so much more, and that's when they're most dangerous.

Who else thinks that Franjinha is an underrated coach? All the great fighters he has produced he has done so from the ground up. He's not taking them from other schools as high level browns and giving them a blackbelt. He builds them up himself.
