Eles responderam as perguntas dos presentes, os funcionários da empresa, e em determinado momento o lutador foi questionado sobre o duelo contra Jon Jones. O SPORTV.COM entrou em contato com um dos empresários de Anderson Silva, Jorge "Joinha" Guimarães", para que comentasse as declarações do lutador. O agente admitiu a possibilidade de a superluta acontecer, mas garantiu que não há nada confirmado:
- Essa é uma luta em que ninguém tem o interesse de tirar o cinturão de ninguém. Eventualmente ela pode acontecer, tudo indica que pode acontecer, mas não existe nada confirmado ainda. Coming from a guy who JUST fought at 205 and has done so a handful of times........an odd request. Especially since it would destroy a chance of a belt been on the line and this becoming even more of a MEGA fight.

Andy is primarily bashed because he doesn't, at least up until this report, have any interest in fighting Jones.
There have been many more reports before this one that Ed/Andy are willing to fight Jones.

The people who want to see Anderson/GSP aren't the same people who want to see Anderson/Jones. Most of the people who are pissed about the GSP fight not happening blame GSP.
I think it's funny how everyone is overlooking Chael in the upcoming fight. That fight is not a gimmie for Jones. Who better to spoil everyone's plans than Chael P. Sonnen?
