Next step for Sage? New Camp?

The kids only going to get better, I'm sure he'll work his ass off and figure his mistakes but should he go to a better camp? Phone Post 3.0

Six months in a Russian prison Phone Post 3.0

He should stick to point karate and acrobatic kata demos.

I don't think he's cut out for this. Phone Post 3.0

He should quit fighting and concentrate on college. Keep training and the UFC will still be there with open arms in a few years time.

The dude's 19, his next step is probably worrying about this semester, not getting a girl pregnant, and not getting popped for drugs.

Hes at tristar i doubt the camp is the problem. He just needs some more experience and he will be fine Phone Post 3.0

Stop listening to daddy and go to Tri Star Phone Post 3.0

What he does now will make or break his career. Reminds me of Erik Silva Phone Post 3.0

Voted up for the truth. In my opinion Sage has nothing to be embarrassed about. He clearly won the first round and has time to work on his developmental areas. I do hope that he wears this loss with pride and doesn't go into hiding.

Needs to:
Put his degree on hold for now.
Train Full time at Tristar.
Focus on learning and training.

Optional:
Shoplift, Push a disabled person out of their wheelchair, Say something negative to someone (and fucking enjoy it). Phone Post 3.0

He's barely training at Tristar. This will be a good chance for him to expand his game now. This fight was also his 3rd since October and he's 19. He will do fine as he gains more experience. Phone Post 3.0

Didn't his dad pull him from Tristar or did he go back for this fight? Phone Post 3.0

That's cute. How many times have you stepped into a cage?

Quitting tri star was a terrible move. Dont listen to daddy this is professional fighting.

Focus on the 155 division where he belongs, he's no Connor at this point in his career. Phone Post 3.0

Too much hype too soon. Give the kid a break. Phone Post 3.0

Needs to go ask his coach to choke him out in my opinion. Seems doubtful he's ever been there before, no one should be feeling getting choked out for the first time live on TV Phone Post 3.0

My thought as well. Still so young and if given the right direction, he will take off again Phone Post 3.0

Never_rolled - He didn't quit Tri-Star and his father didn't pull him out despite rumors. He has to go back and forth due to school commitments. He goes for 1-2 weeks at a time comes back for school and trains locally.

He is going to have to make a decision one way or the other. There are plenty of guys who have full time jobs and still fight but I can't think of one champion that does that. Is Stipe the highest ranked? Phone Post 3.0
Stipe is a fire fighter.

Great job, but don't they have a lot of time sitting around on those monster shifts they work?

When there's action there's action but it seems to me to be one off law jobs that would be most conducive to being able to work out and stuff during all the down time.

That said, Sage definitely needs to maybe do one or the other right now...be a fighter or finish school. Or take distance courses. Phone Post 3.0
