Anything sent over there is greatly appreciated and nothing goes to waste. Jason's always asking for underwear, socks, and insect repellant. I guess laudrymats are few and far between over there.

Quick Q for ya - the local Boy Scout troop in my city wants to send some 'care packages' to soliders in the field. What sort of stuff is most needed/desired by folks out there - food, books, clothing, etc.?
Up With Evil, I always send LOTS of baby wipes, (baths are not that easy to take there) shampoos, bars of soap, hand lotion, chapsticks.....

I wont argue that bug spray is important. However, all kinds of organizations send all kinds of stuff... On the way back home last time, we have SO MANY baby wipes and left over chapstick it was UNREAL. In addition, it helps that when you get a break in the action you can relax a little, and I am sure many will agree with me that being able to put some fights on a screen, gather round and watch them with your brothers would be pretty relaxing. Or maybe reading a Full Contact Fighter before you hit the rack. Theres always news about football and baseball and what not, but for some of these guys, they are now completely in the dark about the happenings of their favorite sport.
