nick is much better than nate. but nate is still really, really good.

Because Nick came into the BJ fight injured (the same injury GSP had (according to Nick in the Post fight), and GSP didn't even fight but Nick still did.), Nick also did not properly prepare for the fight since he couldn't get sparring partners. So basically a 60%-80% Nick Diaz SMASHED BJ.
Although Nate is no Nick, he has finally got weightcutting down and is a top 5 LW. Remember this is the guy who subbed Maynard in their first fight, and their second fight was a close decision that could've went either way. Nate presents all the same problems Nick did. BJ showed NO answer in the Nick fight, what makes you think he has come closer to solving them?

See here is the problem. It is widely accepted that he's one of the best boxers in mma, but because he has no boxing background he can keep only fighting strikers and people say they're world class wins because he outstrikes them.
The truth is that Nick hasn't fought a wrestler in half a decade. If you can name even 20 solid welterweights who aren't wrestlers I'll be EXTREMELY impressed.
This is MIXED martial arts. You can be as great as anyone against one type of opponent, but if you duck all the other types you're not a legit MIXED martial artist.

This is a good point, Nate I think has fought the better opponents. I think bj penn at 155 is where he belongs and where he is the best. Nate just smashed cowboy ( who looked like he gassed after 10 sec) but I think bj penn finishes Nate
