“Nick Diaz Quit” - Adam Hunter on MMA Roasted

They openly make excuses. They become Brazilian on his behalf. Weird ass shit.

He’s a badass, he’s a fighter, he’s exciting, a character, and he quit. Own it, don’t he a punk bitch about it.

Big Nick Diaz fan but I can’t argue with that.

And none of you saying this would get that 6 figure pay day. No one would give a fuck, not even your families lol.

Fuck Adam Hunter too. He’s never fought but says shit like this on his platform? He’s almost as bad as the mermaid. Glad Don put him in his place.

Adam has no business passing judgment. He quit college wrestling because it was too tough… at SUNY Binghamton a D3 school.

He more said it like he seemed shocked that Nick quit. Didnt seem at all like he was talking down on him, just surpirised.

Adam’s podcast is hilarious and Nick quit. I imagine if someone quit like Nick did, back in the day Nick would call them a bitch for doing so.

So many diaz fantards posting here it’s hilarious. Adam is respectful to Diaz if you hear the interview, as he always is.

This…he said it was a great fight, but was shocked by him quitting, as he never thought he’d see either Diaz in that position. Add to that, they pointed out how it was confusing because for the last year his team was putting out info and pictures of an in shape Diaz, that was supposedly training for a comeback all this time, Diaz insisted on a 5 round fight…then fight week comes and it’s Diaz asking for 185 lbs, not in shape that everyone was led to believe over the last year, and then he called it off in the 3rd round. None of what they said was controversial at all…they’re trying to make sense of it all

Nick Diaz is a torchered soul.

He is a good guy teaching kids mma.

He wanted to come back to see if he can continue his past successes as being the baddest man in MW and WW. If there was a BMF belt at that time it would undeniably be his given his run through ufc strikeforce and pride. He may have lost vs GSP and Anderson Silva in their primes but he was never hurt.

He dismantled Frank Shamrock another UFC legend in his 20s.

Fast forward and he got busted for weed by the athletic commission. Such bullshit and later turned to alcohol for his years of suspension.

He had every known anxiety issues before fighting but always performed. He could have been a legend. He left the sport because of the bullshit suspension. And went down a negative road. Years of drinking because the devil gave him that comfort for being forced to not fight.

He says he feels before the Lawler fight that he has it coming. He knows deep down that he is giving this a shot for return but he is in no way ready.

I feel for him. He torchured himself to be the best and the sport turned their back on him for weed smoking. Cutting his income and pay and for what? We all know now the athletic commission decision ruined his career.

I don’t think he made as much as you think. His contract was for $250,000. Robbie’s contracted pay out was $400,000.

It wasn’t a main even or even co-main event. I don’t see why the UFC would have offered Nick any more than he was already contracted to make.

It’s pretty funny, when female Olympian Simon Biles quits mid competition, everyone here shit on her. She was performing poorly, assessed her mental state and couldn’t get focused, so she quit (which was probably the right thing for her to do).
When your favorite out of shape, weed head fighter quits for pretty much the same reasons, you guys are full on white knighting him and are offended that someone dared call him a quitter (which is indeed what he did…quit).

Many of you have very short or very selective memories. I like Lawler, but he actually quit in a UFC fight while he was still standing up. Pete Spratt spammed about 30 leg kicks, as fast as he could throw them at Robbie, right out of the gate. Robbie fucking quit while still standing up.

Not knocking Robbie at all he is a long time favorite of mine, just pointing out the obvious double standard, or more likely pure ignorance going on in here. He quit in the same damn way, or perhaps worse since he was still standing up, as Nick did.

It was indeed entertaining as hell to see Spratt going off with his kicks like that. Don’t believe I have ever seen anything close to it, apparently neither had Robbie at that point in time, he had zero clue of WTF to do about it.

violin deal with it GIF

Let’s see how you’d handle life if some cunt molested you as a kid. She got to the top of her field in spite of it. What have you ever done.

Not become an Olympic level athlete, and not quit as an Olympic level athlete.

I dont think it’s bad he quit/gave up. I was just surprised he did.

you are not a very smart person. there is a clear and obvious difference between someone jumping around on the ground and trampoline and crap like that (yes I jest a bit) quitting because she felt like she was not doing well, and someone who very likely just got his nose broke, was getting pounded by his opponent, who was very likely completely gassed out, and was almost certainly about to get pummeled even worse by his opponent for another 2/3 or so 5 minute rounds. quitting before you get killed is just, shall we say, slightly different to quitting because you don’t like how you are sticking your landings, would you not say? jajajaja at having explain simple things like this…

“Quitting before you get killed…….,”

Jajaja

Would he have finished the fight if it was 3 rounds instead of 5? Questions we will never have an answer too. But I do hope he fights again

yes no one has ever died in combat sports. ever. jajajajaja!!!
