Yabadaba nailed it. My needle is at 12 o'clock for this rematch but if Robbie remains champ. Nick needs to earn minimum 3 wins for a title fight to even sorta make sense. And I love that mother fucker.

I could see an "injury" happening and Nick going in as a late replacement. It would conveniently bypass the blowback from fans regarding him not earning it.
B0NESAW -Nicks record and time away do not warrant those match ups in my opinion. First a top 15 followed by the #10 or 9. Then top 5. I love the guy but I'm all about folks earning title shots. I was in press row for the first fight. High point of my MMA fan career.
That event was amazing. Only one decision (crazy back and forth fight with Franca and Yves) and all the rest were stoppages: Arlovski, Cabbage, Mike Kyle, Wes Sims, Chris Lytle, Genki Sudo, Mike Brown, Diaz, Lawler, Tito, Chuck.........all finishes.
One of the most underrated cards of all time.
