Nick Osipczak Cut From The UFC

MMAWeekly.com

Nick Osipczak has emerged as the latest casualty from the UFC cutting process following on from his loss in Germany to Duane “Bang” Ludwig.

Fighting out of the Rough House camp in Nottingham, Osipczak joined the cast of The Ultimate Fighter Season 9: USA vs UK series with a budding 3-0 professional MMA career – to all intents and purposes, he has been gaining experience at the sharp end of the sport going 2-3 since filming wrapped; the last three of which were all losses.

For many following the Briton’s career, the cut will not have come as a surprise given the way the UFC has been restructuring it’s talent base following the integration of the WEC and comes off the back of other high profile terminations over the last week.

Parting on amicable terms, it has been indicated that if he gains the necessary experience outside of the promotion, a return down the line may be possible.

Looks like Dana read my list! ;-)

Funny how they cut him now and not after the show. Almost like Dana & co. were trying to save face with his "perform or done" comments.

Why don't you just shut the fuck up.

A man just lost his job (whether he deserved to or not) and others are likely to follow. You gloating about it doesn't help and it just makes you look like an asshole.

Please point to me where I am gloating about a man losing his job?

StoutGapedTheQueen - gloat

[gloht] Show IPA
–verb (used without object) 1. to look at or think about with great or excessive, often smug or malicious, satisfaction

Stop looking for things that aren't there. My line was sarcastic, hence the wink at the end.

Agree. I like this guy's persona and his game. I think he'll be back.

Momentum is a very real thing. He needs to put together some wins, which is much easier to do outside the UFC.

He'll be back.

Now that's what I call getting BINGO'D

Freezing Winds - nick is UK good, not america good

Plus he KO'd another on TUF, and all three of his decision losses were ridiculously close. The Story one in particular was considered a robbery by many.

cant wait too see him get a few wins behind him, work on his game a bit more and return in a blaze of glory haha

I remember being impressed by his balls in one of his fights. Can't remember which one - but he toughed it out. Seems he got injured against Bang, cos he started strong.

I think he entered the UFC without enough experience. A few domestic fights and I'm sure he'll be back in there. He's young and is a decent fighter.

Agreed.  Probably my favorite Brit fighter.  I can't say I'm surprised, but I can't say I'm thrilled about it either.  Personally, if you participate in the type of fight that him and Bang put on, I say you stay.  Meh.

Favorite Brit fighter??? Do you watch UFC??? Osipczak is a supplement fiend who really has no business being in a cage fight. Work hard, fight at a more natural weight class, and don't be a bitch in the third round. And learn some takedowns, cause every Brit apparently has NO IDEA HOW TO WRESTLE.

doesnt deserve to be let go ,wonder if he was injured in the 3rd?

He'll be back

I liked Osipczak and his skilset seemed to be improving. But, what the fuck happened to him in that third round?

Cock face - care to expand on your comments?

Osi is ok, I think he's always to put up a fight, but I don't think he's going to amount to much. Pearson I think is the gem of that bunch, as long as he keeps his job I'm satisfied.

Savoy_ de_ Harlem_ es mi perra - You lads have to understand that a lot of your early postings have caused this response. Not the UK fighter that these people are bashing. Just the poster. If I posted this, it probably wouldn't get as much flack. Phone Post

But I think you also have to understand that a lot of these UK trolls, annoying as they are, are a direct response to the US nationalism on here - it can be just as grating
