Nick Osipczak Cut From The UFC

He's a good fighter, he'll be back. String together some good wins outside the company, make his record a little more impressive while he works his wrestling, and he could be a force in a few years.

Too bad, I liked watching him fight. Hopefully he will get better and be back.

Thats too bad. Hope he makes it back.

TTT for slick Nick.

He'll be back. YOUNG kid, he'll be back for sure...

The kid had 3 fights before the UFC if I remember right. He's got plenty of time to make it back. Jumping right in there with the top tier of fighters is rough when you're 3 fights into your career.

THEY GIVE HIM LEGIT OPPONENTS WHILE THEY BUILD MATT RIDDLE? WTF? UFC IS NOT FOOLING THE HARDCORE FANS. WAR CAP LOCKS. GIVE MATT A REAL TOUGH OPPONENT. THEY DONT EVEN DO THAT FOR AMIR SADOLLAH.

Sinner77 - StoutGapedTheQueen How did daley have an okay year? He sucker punched a fighter after he got dominated for 3 rounds. Lost his job because of it, and fought a nobody in his last fight.. If that is "okay" by Uk standards then yea I guess his year wasn't too bad
Exactly, not a great year at all. As far as his career, probably the worst year he's had.

Savoy_ de_ Harlem_ es mi perra - You lads have to understand that a lot of your early postings have caused this response. Not the UK fighter that these people are bashing. Just the poster. If I posted this, it probably wouldn't get as much flack. Phone Post

But I think you also have to understand that a lot of these UK trolls, annoying as they are, are a direct response to the US nationalism on here - it can be just as grating

I'd say it's the opposite. There's very little nationalism amongst American MMA fans. US fans for the most part love the Brazilian, Canadian, Russian fighters, and hate many American fighters. UK fans go bat-shit-nutso for anyone who even trained in England for a week.

you're kidding surely - all this USA stuff you see on the forums after some events is crazy

Savoy_ de_ Harlem_ es mi perra - He fought hard. Much respect is due. He'll be back if he learns from his mistakes. A fine example of a solid Brit fighter. No talk talk. Just fights.

Shame, but that's the way the UFC is going with its roster theses days so not entirely unexpected.

The UK have little hope of winning big fights at championship level so there will always be an under-dog type of support from the supporters over here.

Bit like when Frank Bruno fought Tyson - we all knew he would lose but supported him anyway.

I'm not surprised, he lost three in a row.

Osipczak is a tough kid and he'll be back. Something was wrong against Bang and I think he should've gotten the decision against Story.

Herring In A Fur Coat -
No, I really don't see it. Please point it out next time.

Here's a good example: most US fans are rooting for GSP vs. Kos. Could you imagine any UK fans rooting for GSP vs Hardy, even if Hardy was 10 times the douchebag that Kos is leading up to the fight?

I hate to ruin your argument with facts, but there were lots of people rooting for GSP v Hardy, much like there were lots of people rooting for Akiyama against Bisping, or Condit against Hardy etc etc.

You seem to forget there's a lot more UK fans than the 5/6 that make up the UKTT ;-)

Slick Nick will be back..

imo he was robbed by RicK Story & he seemed to "gas" in his last two fights?

Ludwig couldnt finish him despite Nick seemingly being almost dead on his feet.. (many argue Nick still won the fight)

talented guy with a good chin.. he
ll be back!!

WAR SLICK NICK!!!

Agree with purist, I was supporting GSP vs Hardy (its GSP!)and anyone against Bisping (has a cocky attitude that pisses me off). I think Brits will struggle until we get some better wrestling skills. Heard that Jeremy Horn was coaching at Shootfighters.

I wonder if ghengiseanie has any knowledge of what was up with nick in the third? Rib injury? I still had him winning the fight as I thought he took the first two rounds. He was also unlucky against Story. A very unfortunate couple of results that sealed his fate undeservingly. Not surprised to hear that he will be back after a couple of wins, he always puts on exciting fights. Him piddling on Riddle was one of my favourite moments of UFC 105!

Kid's got skills and heart but he didn't look very impressive toward the end of his last fight (like Harris).. And te magic number three losses doesn't really help. This cut made a lot of sense compared to Harris especially. Phone Post

Hope he makes it back. Anyone else think RossPearson should drop down to 145 now?

Ghengiseanie - NIck wont give any excuses. He didn't finish and wants to do that in every fight. To do that, he has to train harder so he can fight easier. Its his motto. He's very young you know and has no delusional thoughts about where he is. That hunger to improve, from a very nice raw base, will give him much more in the future. He's a former pro gambler, and I'm sure he will be betting on improving ad coming back stronger than ever as soon as he can.
He looked great in the first.
