Hey nick, if you're reading i just want to congradulate you on beating my boy eddie and enjoy that beautiful belt (its my cell phone backround). I was depressed when eddie loss, but it made me feel better that he loss to a guy with soo much class and respect for eddie. You made a fan out of me. If eddie stays at 170 do you believe he'd get a rematch at the title anytime soon? or does bodog believe in making a fighter work their way back up? And if so is that a fight you'd be willing to take? Also who at 155 if anyone would be eddies biggest threat at bodog.
Sorry for taking so long to respond, just found this thread now. I would surely give Eddie a rematch. I think he would have to fight one of the top contendors first, but if he gets by someone like Pele or Shields I think a rematch is definitely in order.
In my opinion though, Eddie should go down to 155. He only walk around at 168 and at this level, you just can't give up that much weight. And I don't know that Bodog has anyone at 155 that is on Eddie's level right now. Riley is one of their best 55ers and we all know what Eddie did to him. I think in the world there are only a handfull of 55ers who are on Eddie's level.
Agallar is strong and explosive. He would be someone who is just as athletic as Eddie. That being said, I think this question is best left unanswered until after Agallar's Costa episode airs.
Mike Brown is definitely in line for a title shot after beating Yves. And Yves vs Eddie would be a very exciting fight.
