Gore isn’t a step up from Pickett though
I think WMII was either two nights, or in two different venues at once.
WMIV had a tournament, a battle royal, and more. It seemed so long at the time, and it was appreciated.
^ admits to still watching tuf
^^ watches for the childish pranks (probably)
WM 2 was three locations.
New York had Piper and Mr. T boxing.
Chicago had the British Bulldogs as champs vs Valentine and Beafcake.
L.A had Hogan vs Bundy in a steal cage.
They all happened the same night and the Hogan match was the main event. There were four matches at each venue.
I forgot the Chicago main event but looked it up.
Agreed. It’s a lateral matchup, rankings-wise.
Gore (74) is actually ranked 4 slots below Pickett (70) on Tapology.
Step down, which I don’t mind as it’s smart to build up a record, but he shouldn’t need 4 months off after not being touched in the last fight.
And this is most definitely not a main card fight
it’s not but it will be on the main card as this is their way of getting exposure to a potential star
Lol
The current price of a single ppv is pretty far past reasonable
I’m not sure after his last fight. Most, especially those who were overhyping him going in, came away realizing that he needs a lot of work. It will do more harm than good to his popularity to keep getting undeserved card spots unless he overperforms.
This Tresean Gore fight is a lateral movement and shows us absolutely nothing if Bo wins. Was hoping for a tougher opponent, as Bo is once again expected to mop the floor with this guy.
Hype Trane
This!!
I don’t need him to fight a killer but at least someone I’ve heard of
I’m all in on the hype train! I’ll ride this thing til the wheels fall off. Just give the man at least a semblance of a test already for fuck sake! Who are they going to give him next if he wins? Sam Alvey?
It hurts when you lose a lot more when all you fight are people you’re supposed to run thru. I’m not saying he will lose but MMA has so many variables that I’d rather risk a higher ranked fighter beating me than a lower ranked fighter if I had the hype this kid has. Like dude said, I don’t need him to fight a killer just yet but not the guy ranked 4 spots lower than the guy you just smashed.
Is this a step up from his last opponent? Or about the same test?
