Nickels is a BLUE belt!

So, I saw that Mike Nickels was a gold medalist at Pan-Ams in his bio, and I was impressed. But then it got me thinking - there are a lot of divisions at the Pan-Ams, maybe he didn't get the gold in the absolute one?

So, I go and check the Pan-Ams results and what do you know - Mike Nickels won the BLUE BELT division in 2005. And not the overall one, either, but Masters - meaning 30 YEAR OLDS OR OLDER ONLY.

That's still very cool, but not as good as I thought..

Mike got promoted to purple from Rigan Machado right after he got back from the show -

Mike is tuff on the mat
