orale for the gi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoy Gi more right now, but I'm only a beginner.
My teacher was telling us how this top notch BJJ guy trained only with the Gi until one month before his entrance into the Abu-Dabhi(spelling?) competition and he ended up winning the whole thing. I forget his name unfortunately.
after 9 years of grappling experience. I think the gi is very good for learning the basics, and it adds another dimension to your game. The gi is more fun and less competitive in my opinion.
but. I think it takes more natural talent and there its a more realistic approach to selfdefense or mma training when grappling without the kimono.
Do both, I train 2xweek gi and 2-3xweek no-gi and it works fine.
