Kneeblock, this was written not with the intention of conveying a message saying no sacrifice is needed. In fact, a ton of sacrifice is needed. If you really dream of competing at a high level, you will need to find a way to produce resources in a big time way. However, if you can't afford the best of everything don't just give up on it.

There is a guy by the name of Mirko that won impressivley in K-1 without sparring partners and while working a full time career. He is currently the favorite to win the K-1, er, I mean PRIDE, sorry, sorry, sorry- the PRIDE GP.
