I will let you know if the turkey I get for 29 cents per pound at the supermaket when I spend $50 goes up to 50 cents a pound this year.

It’s okay. I have nothing to celebrate anymore anyway. Family pulled apart because of politics, no friends because they all lost their brains. I’ll celebrate knowing I can depend on myself.

I bought a 15lb turkey today for $12 (HEB near Houston) before prices get jacked up. My brother in law buys one as well.

This will be our 15th year where we roast one and more importantly, deep fry the other.
