Did Dana finally figure out 99% of MMA fans are gonna watch Fedor fight no matter what? Or did he just figure out most of us have DVR's? Maybe the UFC should have put together a "best of Brock" show...
Only 2 fights I even recognize the names of.
Plus I don't get showtime.
I may find a stream or just watch the fedor fight off of YouTube or something.
No one I talk to who consider themselves fans even know about the fight.

The UFC has only directly countered one competitor's show (when they ran Silva vs Irvin against Affliction).
The rest of the supposed 'counter-programming' is done by SpikeTV. There is no Zuffa counter-programming conspiracy. It's just a TV network trying to grab some ratings. Hell, they even 'counter-programmed' the WEC/UFC shows on Versus.

He might be a "noob" but to 90% of fans out there, only a couple of recognizable names on this card. Only fans who have been around many years have a huge interest in this card
Dana hasn't counter the last few SF events. He even stated he loves the SF GP. Coke needed Pepsi, NFL needed AFL, SF is quite there yet though.
Yup TUF noob, truth is there was not enough available content until recently ( past 5-8 years).
While I am no hardcore, I would say I am an intermediate, and only 2 fights interest me.
Hell I did not even know about Diaz cyborg until I came on here a saw people talking about it.
