Not a fan of Khabib vs Ferg

All this fight does is eliminate a contender. The winner isnt guaranteed a shot at conor either seeing as he has 2 belts to defend now. This is a lose/lose fight for both and IMO khabib should get the next shot. Im hedging my bets on a Nate rematch or a fight with woodley.

ferguson should get next shot. khabib barely fights. he can wait. ferguson has earned it. fighting all the time against killers.

Connor doesn't want to fight either one so If they had a great fight one would be the deserving contender that couldn't be denied. But it seems Tony doesn't Care fighting more and khabib wants it now, the thing is when and how McGregor decides to come back.

Isn't that the point for contenders to eliminate each other in order to.moce.p the rankings and earn the top spot? Or do you think that the top 5 guys shouldn't fight each other and line up to wait and fight rhe champ all in a row? Phone Post 3.0

They will fight regardless, two lions at the top of the hill. Its only a matter of time

yeah I feel you but what if he gets hurt during the wait

khabib = Mr. Glass

We must see it.

Ferguson is highlander. He's going to consume all of Khabib's power.

imo, its the point when neither guy has done enough to deserve a shot, which is not the case here...both guys have legit claims to fight for the belt

the problem with facing top contenders like this is that it ends up weakening the division and you end up with like 30 rematches for the belt bc there are no other contenders to put in there

It is a lose/lose fight but it's an intriguing match that was supposed to happen and I'd still like to see it. I'm not sure who you'd give the title shot to as both are deserving so making them fight to earn an undisputed #1 contender does make sense.

Diaz rematch for 155 title makes no sense so I don't see how a trilogy fight with Nate can be arranged. A fight at 170 makes some sense either for the title with Woodley or perhaps a superfight with GSP. After that it'd be back to 155 to defend the title.
