And so the Zuffa influence on Strikeforce begins.
Where they actually run well and didnt have fighters waiting for hours to weigh in after cutting weight?
TTT for Cesar Gracie fighters David "Tarzan" Douglas & Josh Thornburg.
Who thinks Zuffa told Coker to get up in there with the fighters like Dana? This is the first SF weigh-in that I recall him doing this.
Had to be something like that.
That is a first for Coker.
Is that Burt Watson coordinating?
yep burt is there to. so we got:
Scott Coker playing the role of Dana White.
Burt Watson coordinating.

They needed Burt Badly, I cant imagine cutting weight then having to hang out for a few extra hours waiting to weigh in.

ya, shes smokin aint she.
I'm all for Burt being there. I didnt even notice him until someone pointed it out. I was mainly talking about Scott Coker, I think it's funny they made him do that.
Makes you wonder, if theyre going to be picky about little things like that, what else are we going to see.

Hopefully they will be keep being picky about the little things that they do better than Strikeforce.
@RickMartelsArrogance
LMAO, stfu dude and stop being a prick. I'm not going to get into some gay forum argument with you over petty shit.
Poor Coker getting left hanging on multiple occasions.
Didn't look too comfortable in there but I wouldn't either.
it's almost like they bought the company
Jsteven - They needed Burt Badly, I cant imagine cutting weight then having to hang out for a few extra hours waiting to weigh in.Agree. Most Zuffa events have very smooth pacing, be it the weigh in or the fights. Somebody on that side is doing something very well.
The fact that Zuffa is keeping Scott as the face of Strikeforce is significant. If they did not consider him an asset, they would not have asked him to become more visible.
Personally, I hope they preserve the brand, but I am glad to see the hype machine driving it. Just got an email regarding UFC.TV and other news that mentioned several upcoming Strikeforce shows, something the old ownership wasn't postured to effectively do.
I fucking LOL'ed when I saw Coker walk by in that first shot.

Definitely! I know Stitch is there as well to observe and maybe work some. Stitch and I just finished an article for Train Hard Fight Easy and he talks briefly about how Burt has his shit together and is respected by all.
better ring girls than ufc
