So based on the schedule and who is fighting when...whats your best guess on what they line up for the first main event on Fox?
Lesnar vs Mir is my guess.

Their bread and butter is PPV. I'd be shocked if it was Brock.
They wouldn't ever use lesnar on a free event.
Brock on Fox is a GUARANTEED way for them to make a huge impact on network TV.

Very good guess. I was thinking Franklin/Machida II, but I like your idea better.
Hendo v Machida was my second guess, but I wasn't sure if either of them would be a big enough draw for a show this big. They are definitely going to want to make a splash with their first primetime/network TV show. Not that I dont think that's an awesome fight...just not sure if either of them have a big enough name right now.

Perhaps something like Franklin/Tito as the co-main would help draw in the casual fans.

Agreed. Definitely not putting Brock on if he had the title, but he lost his last fight so I think they go with Brock. It sounded like hes healthy now on his video and that gives him a full 3 months to train.
They need a MAINSTREAM name that can draw in as many of the 'casuals' as they can.
All the other big names are either tied up in other fights or champions right now.
If not Brock, putting Tito in the main event would be another big name to draw numbers.
Machida, Hendo and Franklin will not be big enough.

I dont see them putting Brock on network TV, dude is a loose cannon. Can you imagine if he pulled some dumb crap like he did, after his UFC 100 fight? Hendo has fought on network Tv before, and it doesn't get much more respectful than Machida.

I was thinking that too, but his next fight will be against Stann/Sonnen. They fight in October.
