It'll be Daley I think. Woodley said he's fighting the end of July, and the other fighters are booked up to that except Daley.

Daley would be good, but even though Dana was impressed with his fight against Diaz, pretty sure he's still on Zuffa's shit-list.  I think the UFC will either give it to Bowling, or a "highly-touted" prospect making their Strikeforce debut.

Diaz vacating the Strikeforce title clearly marks the beginning if the end of Strikeforce as a stand-alone promotion, so this discussion is essentially pointless.

If Daley is still on their shit list, I would suspect that they will pass over him for the title shot, so that they can let his contract run out and then get rid of him, rather than being faced with the prospect of taking a chance that he wins a title, then either being forced to keep him around because he is the champ, or getting rid of him anywya, and facing the controversy around a champ that never lost his belt, ala BJ Penn, etc, not to mention that they would then have to have another vacated belt where they would have to do this all over again.

If I were Dana and I wanted to get rid of him, thats exactly what I would do.
