Obama compared ISIS to Christian Crusaders!

What the hell?!

Obama is definitely Muslim, right?

yep.

What the hell?!

OP is definitely retarded, right?

Except that it was close to 1000 years ago. The point is, how do you stand up with some moral equivalency argument trying to rub Christians' noses in it for something that their ancestors did 900 years ago and Radical Islam is doing now?

If by "spot on" you mean off by a few centuries, then yeah.

It had no relevancy. Obama had to go back 50 or 700+ years to make an analogy and you guys gobbled it up. I find it even funnier that Obama thinks he's telling us something we don't know - or info that wasn't already being rammed down kids' throats with the common core - which is a thinly veiled way to promote Islam, by starting with young kids when minds are most susceptible.

It's a cold, hard fact that a massive minority of Moslems are extremists, in deed, thought or speech. More than all other religions combined. Until the bleeding heart liberals get their head out of the sand and their asses, more people will die in the name of political correctness.

He was also talking about The Inquisition, which was not reactive.

Which was how many years ago?

I think this has been put to bed.

I'm so tired of the stupidity. even if everything they said about the crusades were true and they were all evil which is obviously not the case the founder of Christianity preached peace . the founder of Islam killed and taught murder and destruction. Anyone who tries to equate those two religions are either mentally challenged or just have an absolute hatred for Christianity Phone Post 3.0

I just don't like organized religion at all. It's caused more murderous actions than everything else on this earth combined.

But that being said, I'll roll with the Christians all day over the Muslims.

Do people realize that during the Crusades the Europeans were fighting who we would label today Isis? There were a bunch of filthy barbaric Muslims going around raping pillaging and murdering and taking over land. if you butt slamming Liberals were around back then the whole world would've been destroyed. You do know that Muslims has conquered nearly all of the Iberian peninsula. It wasn't until the 15th century that they were completely driven out militarily. The same century that a certain something else began...... Phone Post 3.0

Except people were espousing (supposedly) Christian values to support Jim Crow laws and segregation within a lifetime. We've got people alive now who both gave those justifications and even more people alive directly or indirectly impacted by them.

Now, granted, to get the full brunt of advocating wholesale slaughter, Obama had to resort to ancient history, but if he'd wanted to simply highlight some pretty heinous sins backed by Christianity (including murder), he could've just spun the clock back 40 years.
