lol. no one has the power to stop anyone from fighting in michigan. i have a little secret for you. there is NO REGULATION of amature MMA in this state. so no it's not safe to assume that, ever. how that rumor started i have no idea...... well actually i have a pretty good idea.

look here is the truth from Al, Michigan is no doing anything with Amateur events. Your show can recive acease and desist order if the state wants too if you have pro fighters fight on your card. The rummor about fighters not being able to fight again is this..... If you are a registered PRO fighter in a state that Sanctioned pro mma and you are licensed in that state you can lose your license and possably be banned from fighting in that said state, pluse with states talking with eachother you may be banned from fighting in any state that has sanctioning for mma.
So if you are a Pro fighter and are licensed in a state with pro regulations and sanctioning and you fight here in michigan you could lose your license. My advice is to wait till the new year and the mma will be legal here in michigan, fighters will be able to get licensed. promoters will be able to do the same.
Also the state IS keeeping tabs on the show that are going on. They do send people to the show to view them, stuff that goes down can come back to bite you.
