No he is under contract til 2020 but there are rumors Brewers are shopping him.

There are rumors swirling that cano is getting no bites on his demands for 10/$300. Most GMs are interested in 6-7 years max.

Who wants to be paying a 40 year old cano $30m/yr in 2023?

Seems like an odd trade.

A proven workhorse for a utility guy, middle relief and a young, non-elite prospect.

At least they got two lefties and word is Lombardozzi is a fan favorite. But he grew up in the DC area.

Weird. Unless I'm missing something. Phone Post 3.0

Tigers save about $6 mil by trading Fister.

Dombrowski says Smyly moving into rotation.

Also said the $6 mil saved isn't to try to free room for Scherzer.

Wonder who they are going after. Phone Post 3.0
