Post here for news and updates for his upcoming Boxing Campaign.
I don't want Hari wrapped with that stigma if he beats Kimbo. It's such a freakshow fight and I want the guy to be taken seriously.
He is gonna get killed as soon as he stops fighting scrubs and moves into ranked opponents.
Wish nothing but the best for Hari's boxing career, but I'm still bummed that he chose boxing over MMA.
If I look at the range of K-1 fighter boxing career success as being from Mark Hunt to Matt Skelton, then I'd expect Hari to fall somewhere in the middle. Maybe a Lebanner type who wins a few low level matches or a Ray Sefo who gives a real go at moving up the ranks but gets stopped at the fringe-contender level. Basically, if you like Badr Hari already, he's worth watching since you have someone to root for. If you're looking for a hot boxing prospect, though, you could find a dozen guys with amateur boxing backgrounds that will serve them better than Hari's kickboxing experience will.
He's only forgoing mma because he can use his k1 past as leverage to get a bigger pay check in boxing, which has money to burn like crazy, and in mma no promotion would meet his pay demands at the possibility of him getting tooled
Curious to see hari boxing since in k1 he was never a jabbing guy and went straight for the kill. Great fights and entertainment though

I think he is just a realist and thinking of the best ways he can succeed in the fight game. There are just too many aspects of MMA that he lacks in. In boxing, he could simply train not to use his kicks and get better with his hands. Heavyweight division in Boxing is also lacking in depth so there is a chance for him to get to the top.

I see this as well. Im anxiously awaiting to see who he fights first.
I agree with flip_guard.
