That arena emptied so fast because it was only about 60% full at its peak. I don’t believe the ufc makes money on the gate. No way the tickets are anywhere near as expensive as other markets

When your sport is full of casual fans, it’s easier to sell tickets
Probably so poor that they can’t afford sugar and junk food. No garbage to rot their teeth.

I think it’s a Matt of Brazil being poor. I’m sure they have lots of fans that would love to attend but can’t afford it.

Yeah I’m one of those people. The tickets are either being sold to a bunch of casuals and some hardcores like mainstream sports, or the UFC is misrepresenting how successful these gates are
