Dresses like a whore, cries when she get holla'd at... Bunch of lesbians.
meh, guys howling is fine. The touching part is a crime imo.
GenErick - meh, guys howling is fine. The touching part is a crime imo.As a contractor I have to agree. None of our guys would ever cat call like they did back in the day, but a little bit of "approval" of how a lady looks is ok.
You put your hands on a woman though, and you crossed the line.

According to the women on the vid, Catcalling is a gateway drug to SEXUAL violence.

That's silly, so if I look at a chick and she perceives it offensive, I committed an offense?
Not that any of the girls are especially hot, but the irony is, the day will come when every one of them walks down the street and no longer gets any attention and they will get very upset about that fact, and hate on the new crop of young hotties who have replaced them.
Odd that their test woman wasn't just "dressed provacatively", she was LITERALLY dressed like a streetwalker. She looked like she just stepped out of "Pretty Woman" for this segment. But in her interview it was a baggy sleeveless tee.
Whore's uniform, ladies.

This video is fucked up. Up until the point the woman began to talk about "street harrassment" all the audio I had heard was compliments like "Hey gorgeous" and "Beautiful". Not sure if the "Purrrr" comment is out of line, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't think any of those instances on tape would be found guilty by a jury.
Then it transitions to an interview on an actual physical assault, so it is indirectly trying to tie the two things together which is ridiculous. I wonder what they would think if a white male, dressed in a suit, walked up and said "Hey gorgeous..." I would imagine the reaction would be much different.
I completely understand their rally against assault, but this video doesn't do a very good job of really showcasing it.
GenErick -If you're looking at her in a way that makes her feel offended, then yes it's offensive. The video us talking more about touching and the verbal communication towards women.Private Joker -GenErick - meh, guys howling is fine. FWAT, but I think it's kinda amusing that what they're really asking for is a more civilized society. And while that may sound reasonable, it isn't. The kind of civilization they are asking for is a puritanical one. But of course they want too many other freedoms to really want that, so what they are trying to do is CHERRY PICK certain behaviors from various cultures to suit themselves. Good luck with all that.
fuck bitches, get money.
Private Joker -Free speech is free speech, but touching is wrong and illegal.GenErick - meh, guys howling is fine. The touching part is a crime imo.The thing is you don't get to tell someone how to feel. If women perceive it as offensive, it's offensive.

They're honestly probably just checking to see if she's a hooker. I don't do shit like this, and I do think it is slimy. What I don't get though, why do you dress like that if don't want people to look at you in a sexual manner? I know damn well it isn't more comfortable to wear those clothes. I'm gonna dress specifically to catch a guy's eye, then I'm gonna get pissed off when that's what happens.
