Ohio Amateur Rules? Gloves?

Can someone post a link to Ohio amateur rules?

Also - I know 6 oz gloves... but check out these three from combat sports:

I ask because I've worn some of those, and they're VASTLY different sizes, despite all being "6 oz"

I also posted this question on the UGGP thread, so feel free to ignore the question here or there (but not in both places.)

thanks corey

The first glove there, the Hybrid is a great amatuer glove imho

In every OH event I've ever participated in the only gloves allowed were the second ones with the white knuckles.

we use combat 4 oz. and all our fights are sanctioned. we are in dayton ohio

Aren't  Amt. shows in Ohio "required" to provide gloves for the Amt. fighters???

USKBA sanctioned fights would provide competitors with approved gloves.

6 oz gloves are mandatory for Ohio
no head kicks, elbows, knees to head.

3x3 min rds

1.5 mins between rounds

Promotion usually provides gloves

I fought in Oh and we wore these:

Pro-Style Grappling Gloves

Promotions are required to provide gloves now, i believe.

yes the promoter has to provide gloves. is it common for the promotter to make everyone use the same pairs over and over? last fight only 2 pairs of glove were bought. i love putting my hand is a sweat soaked glove! especially when it is someones elses sweat

Most promotions have 3-4 pairs of gloves. ex. fighters, up, on deck and in the whole are all gloved up..

Well I guess the IFBL in OH is a super awesome promotion because they let everybody keep their gloves. ($44.95 Value)

or they are dumb. thats a lot of money to give out.

Same here, they hurt!

The IFBL is a great regional show from the Warren/Youngstown area. Very sincere promoters (a rarity in this business) who really do try to be fair and treat all the fighters well. Our team has been treated with nothing but respect since we started sending guys up there to compete.

not knocking the promotion at all. but having a variable expense of $800-1200 per show for gloves...horrible business plan
