Ohio Grappling Challenge
Saturday, October 14th
Akron University
(In conjunction with the International Chinese Martial Arts Tournament)
Divisions:
Gi & No-Gi (Absolute Divisions in both)
Registration:
$55 for Men (Includes all divisions)
$45 for Women & Kids/Teens (Includes all divisions)
Rules:
Gi = Modified CBJJ Rules (Changes will be in regards to the points)
No-Gi = NAGA Rules
Awards:
1st – 3rd place Medals
Championship Belts for the Absolute winners
Weight Classes: (Men only)
0 – 154.9lbs
155lbs – 174.9lbs
175lbs – 189.9lbs
190lbs – 209.9lbs
210lbs – Up
Skill Level: (Men only)
Gi = White, Blue, & Purple & above
No-Gi = Beginner & Advanced
(Beginner is anyone with less than 2 years of ANY TYPE of grappling training, including wrestling on any level.)
Absolute Divisions = Open to any Competitor, regardless of weight & skill level. Winner receives a Belt!

Super Fight is in the works...I will post this info later! No Masters or other "age" divisions Women & Kids/Teens will be separated by skill level & weight on the day of the event. They are not eligible for the Absolute Divisions "Purple Belt & Above" will only have 3 Weight Classes 175lbs - 209.9lbs 210lbs - Up If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Event Director:

If anyone is wanting to do a Gi or No-Gi Super Fight...I am now taking resumes.
PLEASE NOTE...there is NO PRIZE MONEY & NO TRAVEL MONEY for the Super Fight competitors! Just the Title, the Belt, and the fact that you are a stud for winning!
