Mixed martial arts veteran Jeff Monson said that his fight with another MMA veteran, Oleg Taktarov, will take place on December 15th. It will be held according to the rules of mixed martial arts.
“The fight with Taktarov will take place on December 15,” TASS quotes Monson.
The fight between Monson and Taktarov on December 15 will be a rematch. In their first fight, which took place at the end of August according to boxing rules, a draw was recorded. At the end of that fight, both athletes declared their desire to hold a second fight and identify the best within the framework of the confrontation according to the rules of mixed martial arts.
Monson had 89 fights in MMA, 61 of which ended in his victory. He also suffered 26 defeats, and two more fights with his participation ended in a draw. Taktarov has 17 wins, five losses and two draws in mixed martial arts.
