He is going hard for a top level fight
not sure it will happen but if he sparks enough fueds then it just might work
If I was his manager I would be begging him to call out some unranked fighters. Call out someone ranked in the 10-15 range at the most.
There is no need to rush, he should be pacing himself.
But from what I hear he does not have a manager anymore, and who knows maybe he really is ready for the best the UFC has to offer.
Again, if I was him I would be asking for a small step up in competition.
Careful what you wish for, Yan would fucking kill him.
Nowhere near ready for Yan.

Yan’s the untested 135r I’d gamble against actually. He has 1 top ten win. Him vs Aldo for the championship baffles me. Sterling and Moraes rematch was the right call, rankings wise. You could argue Aldo beat him I guess, but Yan 100% doesn’t belong in that title fight yet.
If OMaly scorched Yan, I wouldn’t be surprised like I would be if he did Moraes.
Have we seen him defend against a solid wrestler? He's not tested enough to be calling out these guys but I respect his ambition though.
O’Malley needs to keep calling for the Garbrandt fight. Leave that Russian man alone, for now.

He fired his manager and represents himself so he can pay his coaches and cornermen more he was saying
to be the best you have to have the confidence ot be the best,The kids impressed me so far
While he is damn impressive so far, his personality is grating so I'd probably pull for Yan it they were matched up. Seems to me O'Malley will quickly become a guy who is easy to cheer against, despite his awesomeness in the cage. The arrogance he carries himself with in interviews isn't charismatic, fun, or charming like Conor or Chael, it's tight and awkward, and I can see him going full blown diva on the organization before long. None the less, he'll have my attention all the way through because the kid can fight like a motherfucker.
If Ronda and Rockhold had a kid....

Hmm I see your point with the championship, Sterling vs Moraes def makes most sense.
But stick to guns with Yan, he has not even come close to being under real pressure, dodson, rivera, faber none even pushed him, and last 2 are good wrestlers. He has not faced a guy long for the division yet so that a big question mark, that the only thing that OM has got on Yan.
