Saw it right after he posted. Shit happens and sometimes you get blanketed. Oh well.

Brock Lesnar took his soul

Because he knocked that dude out that kissed him, duh. Like a homosexual.

To be fair, he's faced the worst possible match-up in back to back fights.  A gigantic wrestler in one, and a judoka lay and pray specialist in the other.  It really should've been Ishii vs Aliakbari and Herring vs Dos Santos imo.  Maybe the next Rizin event..

Guy has been fighting since it was like the wild west.

Wins over: Igor Vovchanchyn, Mark Kerr, Enson Inoue, Tom Erikson and more.

Has fought: Fedor, Cro Cop, Big Nog, Lesnar, Sam Greco, Vitor Belfort and more.

Goddamn, what do you have to do to get some respect on this forum?

I really don't expect some of you to understand. Your sign up date really says it all. But mine also says why I don't really follow the sport anymore. Heath was fighting before the term MMA was even coined. And that's way before you found TUF.

And to be clear I'm not trying to be rude. It's just a fact. If you weren't around back in those days you will never understand.

legend is pushing it.. he was the first heavy bag Fedor beat the tar out of though.

I will never forget the Erickson fight. Heath was my first favorite heavyweight and remember his epic effort against Nog the first time as well. Heath just happened to hit his prime in the Fedor/Nog era which is unfortunate.

Plus the ref poked him in the eye just as the fight with Brock started so he might have not looked so bad initially in that one if it weren't for that. Heath was still pretty decent at that point IMO.

What?
Heavy bag?

He wasn't that far removed from one of the best heavyweight fights ever with Big Nog.

It's like what the poster a few above me said, what does a fighter have to do to get respect now?

MMA "old timer" here and founder of the UG Grand Prix. Why was it named such? Because of Pride FC grand prix. Who was a major player in Pride's heyday? Heath Herring.

Therefore, Heath Herring is and always will be a pioneer and a legend in MMA.

This. He finished The Big Cat when Erikson was the guy nobody wanted to fight.

When Golden Boy speaks, you faggots just shut up and listen. Herring is an absolute legend of the sport.
