A 'fun and whimsical take' on brutal murders including that of an 8 1/2 month pregnant woman who's unborn child was stabbed in her womb by the killers? Sounds hilariously entertaining.

This is going to be as bad as Argo. Just another case of Hollywood sucking its own dick. It probably wins best picture.

I want to like it, so not going to set my expectations high. I'm sure it will be worth a watch though. Seems like it has a lot of good ingredients.
I'll be curious to see how sympathetic the movie will be towards roman Polanski, Tarantino previously defended him raping a 13 year old. Obviously he's a victim in this case but it's kind a strange situation when you know he's a creep
Every movie he makes is at least secondarily a love letter to Hollywood, but I think some of his films are good fun. I like the casting of this one and hope it's good.

Am I the only one who thinks he was somehow behind it? His wife was almost certainly fucking that Jay Sebring dude and may have been pregnant with his child. Sebring was the only one beaten unrecognizable, and a weird noose was tied around his neck and Sharon’s, connecting them. They were the only two inside the house, the other bodies were outside. They were all members of the Church of Satan
Polanski also posed for a picture in front of the ‘pig’ door for Life magazine. Almost artistically like a hunter with his kill. Strange choice for a man who’d just had his wife and unborn child slaughtered and her blood used to write the word.
I know, it’s far fetched, but there is a lot about the whole thing that rings out to me.
I like him directing a story in that era.good timeframe for him.

I’ve watched several different trailers and I’m not impressed at all with what I see…aside from Manson being in it I’m not sure what the actual appeal is …Brad and Leo are great actors but this movie just looks meh
People think everything Quentin touches is gold but I don’t see it like that…he’s had some great ones but some duds too

I’ve never heard of any rumors that Polanski was behind the Manson murders …which ones were members of the church of Satan and how does this fit into any of it?
