Visited my friend Roy Marsh's academy last week and showed my one-arm clock choke.
Awesome Aaron. It's interesting, I'm finding more and more that you cannot hit a clock choke slowly once you have the grip in (against someone good). Your dive fits well with that speed aspect. Will try.
Cracks me up that it starts with a Royce logo, then the guy has a Carlson gi and he is teaching the choke Wallid used to choke Royce out.
That being said, nice technique. I like the emphasis on the weight on the back of the head.
Here I attempt it during a judo match. It felt tight, but I didn't get the tap.
That's a great choke which I also love. Roy is also one of my favourite people
Love that...similar to a version I do...i bring arm down on other side of arm against the head.....yours is more direct which I like.
