Has anyone seen this movie? I just seen it the other day,It's stars Tony Jaar. This little Fucker does some of the most amazing shit I've ever seen! The fight scenes are bloody sensational, He has to be the most flexible dude I've seen since Bruce Lee.
He throws some of the badest knee's on earth.
Wicked fight scenes!!

What's his story is he just an actor or has he fought before? Those fight scenes are fucking awsome i've never seen shit look that real in a movie before.

Tony Jaa is all real. Like already stated, he has a gymnastics/stunt/kickboxing background. Grew up idolizing Jackie Chan. He and his stunt team are amazing, all real, no wires, no tricks, they even do the stuff before live audiences at screenings. Their next movie is called Tom Yung Goong (no idea what it means), I saw a couple of fight clips from it somewhere, looks just as amazing as Ong Bak.

Have to admit that Ong Bak had me and my buddy watching actually going "whoa!" and "shiiit!" and "dam!" quite a lot throughout that movie and the production, story, characters, etc was not bad either.

No one is saying he's a fighter. Bottom line is, he can do any of the moves he does on film live, I've seen it. He doesnt use a double or any tricks other than his physical skill. That's why he's getting props. He's a great martial film actor, and he's just getting started.

Its like its automatic that someone has to pop a "he's an actor not a fighter" if we are giving a MOVIE props.

I dont think any here said "Tony Jaa vs._____ - make it happen!" Everyones just saying how dope Ong Bak was and it was due to Tony Jaa being a dope martial arts movie actor.

When you train to be a Jet Li or a Jackie Chan or a Tony Jaa, you dont train to be a fighter, you train how to make your movies and fight scenes look good.
