The Canelo fight is a last minute effort by GBP to hold onto Floyd for one more fight. Mayweather Promotions doesn't have a promoters license so Floyd does business with GBP who just happens to supply his opponents since the DLH fight. Bob Arum is trying to backdoor them by getting some sponsors onboard to throw money at Floyd and get him to do the Pacman fight with TR and leave GBP out. Thats the reason that Oscar is going crazy on twitter and that Canelo is calling Floyd out now. Its a last minute effort to grab Floyd's attention. Reality is that to make the Floyd fight you don't have to call Richard or Oscar, you can give Al Haymon a call, cut a deal for revenue split that they are happy with and make the fight happen. Boxing is a dirty business but you might get the fight everyone wants for once because of it.
