OTM MidEvil Gi Sale (3 Days Only!)

OTM MidEvil Gis -- $25 OFF, Free Belt, and DVD (3 Days Only!)

The latest from On The Mat is the OTM MidEvil Gi.

This gi is a light weight weave gi perfect for you to weigh-in at the Mundials! The gi features a light weight foam rubber core. The Core is made from high temperature industrial foam so the collars will not curl up like the Brazilian foam collars.

Designed to last forever, the gi top is made from one piece of fabric for the entire uniform, making it both stronger and gives it a uniform shrink rate.

THIS GI IS GUARANTEED NOT TO TEAR FOR 1 YEAR!

The Gi is Pre-Shrunk and shrinks to fit.

The art is all fully embroidered designs with stylish woven shoulder art and cool hits on the ankles, hips, shoulders and across the lower back. We made sure to leave plenty of room on the back for your school patch.

These gi are made in a limited run with Sizes A1-A7 and Kids Sizes K1-K000.

Gumby says:

The OTM MidEvil Gi in my mind is the perfect combination of style, comfort, and functionality.

To be honest, gi preferences are a largely individual thing. Different brands will fit you in different ways, some people prefer a heftier gi, some people prefer a lighter gi. This one fits me like a glove, and I tend to prefer the lighter weight gis. The collar is just the right thickness I DON'T like them to be as think as possible, in short I move around in this gi like it was a second skin.

Style wise...look at it and make your own opinion, but I happen to think this is among the most stylish gis on the market. Lots of cool and unique styling touches, and we left the most important upper back is left blank for your team patch or sponsors.

I've had my gi for almost six months now, and although I have a pretty large rotation of gis to go through so any one gi has less abuse, this gi still looks brand new to me. It's my go too gi for both my toughest training and competition, as well as my photo-op gi.

Check them out, they come in both white and blue!

when will the $25 be taken off? is the price on the site with the discount?

Also, what weave is this? Can you compare the fit to other gi's out there?

The $25 has already been taken off, so it will go back up in 3 days. The weave is different than any other weave out there, so I couldn't accurately compare it to something you're familiar with. It's a lightweight weave that meets all CBJJF regulations. It's also guaranteed not to tear for the first year you own it.

I asked this on Gumby's blog, but how can a gi be pre-shrunk AND shrink to fit?

"I asked this on Gumby's blog, but how can a gi be pre-shrunk AND shrink to fit?"

I wasn't quite sure how to answer this, I didn't write the copy myself.

I've had my gi for over six months now. It fit fine from the get go and I've taken steps to make sure it wasn't going to shrink any further (no heat in the wash, drying, etc...) Six months later and it still fits as if it was brand new.
