I backed up outlook.pst and archive.pst from a Win2000/Office2000 install. On my new computer I installed WinXP(pro)/OfficeXP.
After setting up my Email accounts, I replaced the newly created outlook.pst with my old one. Put the archive in that directory too.
For the most part, everything worked. Just one exception though. I can't access by contacts through the Email send interface.
I can browse through my contacts and click the "send message to this contact" button, but if I click to the "To" field in compose mode, I get this error:
The address book could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; It may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook address book, see Microsoft Outlook Help.
I'm logged into the new machine under the same username that I used on the old machine, and I do have admin rights.
Any idear how to fix this little issue?
