Was kinda surprised zuffa cut him after posting a 3-3 record.. he's got both one of my favourite KO's and subs of all time. Anyone know what he's up to now? Planning to fight still?

He moved to Oslo, Norway where his wife is from. Not sure what he is up to. I might go drive down to Fargo and train some BJJ with his old coach, Dylan Spicer, tonight so if I get the chance I can ask him if he knows what Pablo is doing in the near future.
In for an update.
Was disappointed to see UFC letting him go. Good fighter, that flying knee KO made a sickening sound btw...
Sorry to disappoint but sadly I had car troubles and was not able to make it down to Fargo but according to his facebook page he is working as a personal trainer in Oslo. As far as future fighting goes I am sadly in the dark.

I took a kickboxing class from him at UND about 2 years ago, during the time he was training for the Jabouin fight. I went into the class thinking it was going to be an easy A. That was a mistake; swear to god he wanted us all to be pro fighters one day because I busted my butt off in that class, lost 10 pounds in the process. So I too hope he makes it back to the UFC if he does continue to fight.
always liked watching him fight
I live around 70 miles north of Fargo, so about an hour drive. The weather has been brutal this winter. I am born and raised in NoDak and this is the longest and coldest winter I can remember. Today I think the high was -8 and I was thinking that it was pretty nice out, luckily there was not any wind. Its generally the wind that makes everything brutal.
He actually retired Paixao with that flying knee. He came back for one fight afterwards and retired again
Sucks to see him go, if I remember correctly he was the first featherweight fight in the ufc, which also means he got the first ko in the ufc featherweight division
I saw him at a garage sale last summer
I was able to talk to his old boxing coach today at open mat and he told me he is done fighting.
