Pac had that rough patch where he lost a questionable decision to Bradley and KO loss to juiced pee pee mouth Marquez, but Pac looked awesome in the bradley rematch and algieri fight this year, while Floyd seemed tired at the end of the rounds against maidana in both fights.
I think Floyd will beat Pac, but at this point, its not going to be uncommon to hear people predict Pacquiao will win.
Maybe if he was actually fighting top flight competition we'd see. Wish he would branch outside of top rank for fights. Lots of wars for him out there, imagine how great him vs maidana would be!
Wasa-B - I didnt know anything about Algieri but the guy beat Provodnakov, is that not top flight?
Also Pacs speed and combos were up to.....speed i thought. He was a bit reachy but i guess that was because Algieri was so tall and runny?
Provodkinov is pretty much just a big hitter with No footwork or defense. If you get sucked into a brawl with him you probably won't win. However if you use angles and box him he doesn't have an answer

I see. Still put Algieri up there in the ranks though, no? I guess stylistically, maybe not....
The better question would be how would algieri vs PBF look?
Would Algieri win a round?
Would it at least look semi competitive?
Algieri had good foot work, height, and a good jab which can cause fits for Mayweathers style. That combination would cause mayweather to come after him..
GarlicSauce - Does anyone care anymore? These two are past their prime. The golden opportunity is gone, forever.
I kinda agree with this. After Mayweather/Mosley fight that would have been the time. That fight would have shattered every record imaginable for PPVs. Now I think barely beats Mayweather/Del La Hoya
I care but it has lost some of its luster of course. Id say it would be better than the state of Chuck/Wand when they fought but still not a prime matchup anymore but of course everyone would still watch
Pac and Mayweather are still dominating the sport - this would be the biggest fight of all time if it happens soon. The Pac loss against Marquez brought the dream fight down a notch, but still.
