"On August 8, 2013, I made certain false and defamatory comments, online, about an unnamed person, to whom I wish to apologize. My comments were directed at Rodrigo Carvalho and contained false and inaccurate information about him, for which I wish to apologize to Mr. Carvalho and to the staff and students of Gracie Barra Vancouver. In particular, the following comments made by me about him are false and inaccurate:
• When I stated "one of our students charged him with rape", that statement is false and inaccurate. No criminal charges have been laid again Mr. Carvalho.
• When I said "there is still pending charges coming [against him]", that statement was false and inaccurate. There are no pending criminal charges against Mr. Carvalho.
I extend my sincere apology to Mr. Carvalho and his family for any embarrassment caused to him by my false and inaccurate comments."
