Pacquiao zings Mayweather on Twitter

Hocky Balboa -  On that video someone posted the other day where Roach was calling Floyd a pussy, he said Floyd was now asking for a 70/30 split. Phone Post

 Roach doesn't know lol

floyd would destroy pacman

It takes a "special" fighter like Manny to miraculously go from roughly 100lbs of muscle to roughly 150lbs of muscle as an adult.

lol @ 100 lbs of muscle.  Manny was a twig back then.

Anyways 50/50 with everything split down the middle is fair to me.

I think so, but Floyd hates Arum and vice versa, he doesn't want Arum getting a large cut of the revenue...

antoniomontana - Has it actually been verifiedthat the only reason fight wont go ahead because Floyd wont take 50/50?

If so why has he not recieved more criticism? Many people said this was what he would do. It would prove their is nothing Pac could do to fight him.
Can never be verified as the "one" reason because everytime Pacman agrees to terms, Floyd comes up with something else.  I think Floyd would win but he is afraid he won't for some reason and has been ducking the Filipino punching machine!

Because that's not the reason. Arum, Kuntz and the rest of Pac's camp made 10000 excuses as to why they would not fight Mayweather in May. Arum even said Mannys cut from the Marquez fight wouldn't heal till June...Really???

The not 50/50 split was the last thing they could hang on to. It's bullshit that whole crew wants no part of Mayweather after just getting their ass handed to them a third time by Marquez. Manny needs a flatfooted opponent. Mayweather would crush him...and his people know it. Phone Post

both pacquiao and mayweather will say they want this fight to happen but both will find ways to avoid it. add in bob arum who doesn't want it to happen knowing his money machine manny might lose.

blah blah blah.....

Pacman should concentrate on his next fight then altogether leave boxing for few years till the next hungry young dog is barking at his doorstep.
Move on and sort ur country out in politics..do something else, there's nothing left for him in boxing but a POS human-being who is obsessed with $$$ and will not jeopardize his "OH" for boxing fans in general.

Whatever you say, Floyd. Phone Post

Manny was once the 112lb champ. Think about that in terms of the amount of muscle he gained as an adult as far as percentage of body weight gain. Take a look at Barry Bonds early pictures when he was a stick. It's always the same explanation ... hard work, advances in nutrition, Easter bunny etc. If we did it by percentages that would mean that a 200lb adult man should be able to gain roughly 80-100lbs of muscle.

"The not 50/50 split was the last thing they could hang on to."

Hang on to? Are you serious? If its actually true that Floyd wont even agree to a 50/50 split then he is 100% ducking. Couldnt be more blatant.

To me the fight already lost alot of it's luster because Manny lost his last fight.

I wish Pacquiao would blast him in the ring, instead of on Twitter.

Neither guy is in a postion to act self-righteous about the fight not taking place at this point.  It's a blemish on both of their careers.

Its a matter of when Floyd will be dead broke and in debt again.

Although I wish I could say otherwise, I think that this is still the best matchup that can be made in boxing.  But, you're right the longer they wait the less likely that this will be seen as two seemingly unbeatable fighters meeting in the prime of their careers for pound for pound supremacy.  Pacquiao's recent vulnerability is a sign of how this fight might eventually decline in importance like Calzaghe-Roy Jones (where one fighter was considered damaged goods), Chuck-Wanderlei (where both fighters were considered damaged goods), or Roy Jones- Dariuz Michalecheski (where both guys declined to the point where people stopped caring about the fight at all).  They will always be able to get some eyeballs based on nostalgia, but what the fight would have meant two years ago will be different than what the fight means two years from now, and not in a positive way.

Pac lost to Marquez.

Arum has adopted Zuffa's policy of not releasing PPV #'s. Why?
Floyd Releases his.

I love me some Manny but he deserves some of the blame for the fight not happening.

He was 20 when he won that title and got stripped for not making weight-he lost the fight but was stripped prior to that for not making weight(he was penalized several times for not making the 112 limit). this was a theme in his teens(he started at 16) and early 20's.

not saying he didnt/doesn't do steroids. just saying his rise in weight is misrepresented. when most other fighters start their pro careers, say 20, he was already a WBC champ..

it takes a special man to think that  Pacquiao runs his own twitter..

If it was in broken English, then I might have thought it was true.
