Just thought it would be a cool idea for a thread. How Pancrase fighters did in UFC maybe make a list like :
Frank Shamrock: 5-0 -0 in UFC
Ken Shamrock: 7-6-3
Bas Rutten: 2-0
Any add ons
Yoshiki Takahashi 1-0 in the UFC
no ones got any more info on pancrase fighters that fought or are int he ufc
I think Marquardt was Pancrase. I think he is 2-1.
yes he was king of pancrase a couple times at 170.
Nate Diaz fought Pancrase and lost there.
We should note which guys fought in Pancrase under closed fist rules and open handed rules. Of all the guys mentioned, I think only Diaz and Marquardt fought with the closed fist rules, all the others did the slap fights.
Akihiro Gono fought in Pancrase a bunch of times.

He was King of Pancrase tapping Marquardt and retired while still being champion. 1-2 in the UFC so far. He did Pancrase closed fisted.
Justin McCully and Evan Tanner both fought Pancrase. Actually fought each other in the finals of a tournament there. That was open handed though I'm almost positive.

Add Genki Sudo and Takase to that list as well. Takase gave up a bunch of weight and got beat up by Horn years ago in the UFC.

I was thinking the same thing.I'd have to grap my box of vhs tapes and search thru all of them.who is the heavyweight from indiana who also fought in the UFC?he also lost to horn.semmy schilt,kondo, the guy from AMC. 170lb who fought pat militech and broke his nose.ton of guys got their start there or at least competed st one time.

dave terrell 2-0 in pancrase 2-1 ufc.
he was part of a deal between ufc/pancrase that they would let dave fight in the ufc but they had to let other pancrase fighters fight too.thus we got too see the return of
koji oishi to the octagon 12-5-4 in pancrase,0-2 in the ufc.
