Sadly for the Carolina Panthers and NFL fans who appreciate talented signal callers, Stanford Quarterback Andrew Luck has decided to stay for his Junior season. Luck, blessed with ideal physical tools at 6-4 and 235 lbs with plenty of athletic ability as well, finished second in the Heisman voting this past season after compiling 3332 Passing Yards, 35 Total Touchdowns, and an astounding 8.9 Yards Per Play (Passing or Running).
But enough about Andrew Luck and the foregone conclusion that the Carolina Panthers would have selected him with the first overall selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, had he declared; what do the Panthers do now? Maybe they still have some luck remaining and can find a way to trade out of the spot, but that is highly doubtful. Here are the five options I believe the 2-14 Carolina Panthers have come April.

1. Defensive End Da’Quan Bowers from Clemson
2. Wide Receiver Adriel “A.J.” from Georgia
3. Quarterback Ryan Mallett from Arkansas
4. Quarterback Cameron Newton from Auburn
5. Defensive End Robert Quinn from North Carolina
You forgot Nick Fairley, DT Auburn.
This wasn't my article, but I do think Fairley is a legit possibility as well. He would've probably been the 6th person on the list.
