I know he is the owner/creator of RVCA.
I know that he played a major role in bringing AOJ to life.
He is a black belt but I can't find any information on who he got it from. He is close with a lot of Carlson's guys...which makes me believe that he received it from one of Carlson's black belts.
Any other jiu jitsu related information would be cool too.
He got it from Allan Goes. Hence the Carlson connection.
What does RVCA mean? And why is it pronounced ruca?

Not my freind! I prefer the artist formerly known as the atama bjj forum.
the claim is that "ruca" is greek for clothes.
clothes in greek is actually pronounced roo-hah.
I remember seeing a video somewhere that said they use the "VA" logo because it is similar to yin yang and balance.
Does often does he train? Does he roll?
