Hey Pat
I was fortunate enough to get to hang out with you and the MFS crew at the hotel, watched you guys train in one of the conference rooms, then you and Jens went down to the courtyard and trained a bit more. This for me was the golden age of the UFC, everything was so open and easy access for the die hard and faithful fans. My question was you met a fan there, who's father was a chef.
They took you all back to their home where he prepared dinner for you and the crew. Have you ever heard from that kid again? It was a very kind gesture, and you and the crew were true gentlemen for accepting the invitation. That has always stuck out in my mind about how much of a family you and your team are, and how great you are to the fans.
You also sat down with me for a good amount of time at the ESPN zone for the press conference, and we had a conversation totally unrelated to MMA, for me those moments are what separates you and the team from everyone else, when you add work ethic into the mix its awe inspiring. Well I just wanted to thank you for those great memories, for me they are what MMA is all about.
